COMPRESSION TESTING & CYLINDER INSPECTION
with Dave Prizio
We will look at differential compression testing, including its strengths and weaknesses. We will also look at the use of an inexpensive borescope to examine the interior of aircraft engine cylinders. By combining information from both of these tests an airplane owner can make a better decision about when to remove and repair or replace a cylinder versus keep flying with it.
